App: personal taxes AI
Effective: October 24, 2026
personal taxes AI is a private tool used by a single person, its owner, to read and organize the owner's own QuickBooks Online records for bookkeeping and tax preparation. It is not offered to the public and has no other users.
What the app accesses
Only the QuickBooks Online companies that the owner connects, using the access the owner grants through Intuit's authorization screen.
How data is used
Data is used only to help the owner review and organize their own books and prepare their own tax returns. Access credentials and working files are stored on the owner's own computer. To analyze the records, the owner's AI assistant sends the parts it needs to its AI model providers, under their data-retention and privacy terms.
Sharing
Data is not sold, rented or shared with third parties for marketing or any other purpose. It is not used to build advertising profiles.
Retention and deletion
The owner can disconnect the app at any time from QuickBooks Online (Settings → Apps), which revokes its access. The owner deletes the locally stored credentials when they stop using the app.
Changes
Any change to this policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
